RCA/CNA (7a-7p)

Autumn Cove, our state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care community in Anniston, AL, is seeking RCA/CNA to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.
As a RCA/CNA, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in administering medication to patients and monitoring their reactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medication administration and a passion for providing quality healthcare.
Responsibilities: - Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols - Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications - Document medication administration accurately and timely in electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Cerner - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper medication management and patient care - Assist with phlebotomy procedures as needed - Provide support and assistance to patients with special needs Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a Medication Technician training program or certification - Previous experience working in an acute care or medical office setting is preferred - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Cerner - Ability to accurately phlebotomize patients is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Per diem, PRN Healthcare setting: * Nursing home Medical specialties: * Geriatrics Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Every weekend * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * On call * Overnight shift * Overtime * Rotating weekends * Weekends as needed Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Preferred) * Overnight Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
