Reports to the Imaging Supervisor.
This job functions in a dynamic and varied role; the major goal is to provide quality nursing care to patients in Radiology: job performance requires the use of assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management skills; insures patient privacy and dignity; may function in the following areas: special procedures, general diagnostics, computerized tomography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
Assesses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and growth and development dimensions of the patient.
Plans patient care utilizing the nursing and medical diagnosis.
Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
Evaluates patient status, nursing interventions and appropriateness of the nursing care plan.
Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments.
Valid Alabama RN license.
Prefer five years critical care experience.
Must complete ACLS within the first year in position.
Appropriate nursing competencies are maintained
