Mechanic 1

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.
The Mechanic 1 technician is trained to help support patients and staff by maintaining and improving a safe and secure physical environment.
Requires a basic knowledge of plumbing and general maintenance; as well as read and follow instructions, manuals, work orders and to document work completion.
Ability to work hard, be responsible, reliable, have good people skills and be a team player.

Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience/Skills Requirements EDUCATION: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Alabama motor vehicle operator’s license that is not under suspension or revocation.
