*EH&S Manager*
The Cedartown Environmental, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for management of all safety and environmental activities and programs for the Cedartown site.
_Environmental activities include:_
* Managing the biological water treatment plant maintaining the current NPDES permit as monitored by the Georgia EPD.
* Hosting periodic audits by OSHA, EPD, DHS, customers, etc… and other State and Federal agencies, participating in the inspections and lead follow-up activities.
* Responsible for maintaining all environmental permitting and reporting to regulatory authorities with applications, revisions, and/or renewals, as required.
* Review, update and implement current environmental control plans.
* Perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste profiling and scheduling, purchase requisition submittal, aid in transport disposal, tracking and record keeping.
_Health activities include:_
* Responsible for maintaining a healthy workplace by assuring proper PPE is available and used properly
* Identifies and schedules required facility environmental testing
* Periodic audits reviewing the facility health and safety requirements and their compliance
_Support RMP/PSM compliance activities.
Safety activities include:_
* Implementing and monitoring corporate safety policies, processes and plans.
* Supporting the corporate safety team and their goals as needed.
* Assure that annual required safety training is completed
* Maintaining and promoting safety communication throughout the facility.
* Assist in new hire training and on-boarding of personnel.
Viable candidate for this position will be experienced in the requirements above along with an ability to communicate the needs and status of the EH&S program to all levels of the plant.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
