Overview:
Scope of Position: Director, Content and Programming – Marriage (Creation and Curation) will be responsible for developing and curating marriage content for marriage retreats as well as providing programming at weekend retreats.
A crucial component of this role is making sure all content/experiences taught at WinShape Marriage retreats is Biblically rooted and research informed as well as relevant for couples from diverse backgrounds.
This position will interface with individuals across the Foundation tasked with performing a variety of duties related to executing retreats and experiences.
Retreats and experiences will take place at WinShape Retreat as well as locations around the country.
The Director is responsible for keeping abreast of the latest research and trends around marriage and working alongside the Senior Director to create a long-term plan for Marriage Ministry.

Responsibilities:
Creates and curates’ content for marriage retreats at WinShape and in other locations
Collaborates within WinShape Marriage and across the Foundation to ensure the successful execution of Marriage experiences
Stays current on national and global trends in marriage, relationships and families
Leads marriage retreats and experiences on a regular basis
Writes and delivers digital marriage and family content
Ensures that all retreat programming serves a varied audience in accordance with the overall WinShape Foundation Marriage vision and strategy
Regularly evaluates marriage content and programming
Work alongside the Senior Director of WSM to create a long-term marriage ministry plan.
Qualifications:
A self-professing Christ-follower, actively pursuing his/her faith on a consistent basis
Demonstrates a healthy and growing marriage
Bachelor’s degree in related field, with preference given to advanced degree in ministry field and/or counseling
Minimum of 10 years of experience in ministry, marriage and family education
Proven experience in content creation, curation, and programming in the marriage/relationship/family space.
Demonstrated depth, breadth and training in multiple marriage and family curriculum
Demonstrated knowledge in the latest marriage and family research
Demonstrated ability to write marriage and family content
Demonstrated ability to speak and lead marriage retreats
Demonstrated ability to direct and manage team members
Relationship capital and networked across the country
Able to perform multiple tasks and move from one project to another while leading projects to a successful completion
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and relating to all kinds of people
Exemplary planning and time management skills
Discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Keynote, OneNote)
Demonstrated ability to create solutions to complex problems
Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and be highly responsive to requests
