S&S Transport of Anniston is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to add to our growing team.
Founded in 1981 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, we have proudly been serving America's supply chain for over 40 years! In 2018, we opened our Anniston terminal and have continued to grow ever since.
Pay is based on experience.
*What does a Warehouse Manager do?* Warehouse Managers control the workflow of employees at warehouses and call centers.
It is their responsibility to ensure all goods are accounted for each shipment, and to ensure each shipment arrives on time.
This is not your typical office position.
Warehouse Managers work directly on the warehouse or call center floor to make sure everything gets done.
It involves being on your feet for long periods and can sometimes involve lifting and moving product.
The role of Warehouse Manager is a supervisory position.
It involves delegating tasks to warehouse employees, as well as training new hires.
This role also requires someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, as the Warehouse Manager works with many other positions on the supply chain.
