I have a male juvenile Kribensis Cichlid (also called a Rainbow Krib) that is in need of a new home and tank.
I am giving him away for free because I have a Parrot Cichlid that is being a jerk and bullying him.
I decided that I would rehome him instead of the jerk since he is still a juvenile and nobody wants a jerk fish.
I will be sending him with a large container of Cichlid food that he has been eating, if needed/wanted.
They are beautiful peaceful fish and can do well in community tanks.
They are one of the few Cichlids that are not aggressive and can live in a non-Cichlid community tank.
They can be semi-aggresive if breeding.
They are on the smaller size and typically get between 3-4" long.
He was housed in a tank with Angelfish, Pygmy Cories, Pictus Catfish, Mollies, Parrot Cichlid, Barbs, Tetras, Loaches and Rams and have had zero issues with him.
I have posted pictures of him currently and also how he will look as an adult.
He is still a juvenile and does not have all of his colors yet.
I purchased him less than a month at a well known fish store in Birmingham, not a big box retailer.
All of my fish are free of any bacterial infections, fungal infections and parasites.
They were all treated as precautionary measures when purchased as all of my fish are.
He is ready to be placed directly in your tank without being quarantined first.
