Position Overview: STEPPING STONES TO SUCCESS COUNSELING Administrative Assistant will work
Monday- Friday, 8 to 5 supporting the front and back end of Stepping Stones to Success Counseling, including bit not limited to, scheduling client calls, referral entries, client support, billing support if needed and ensuring our staff is supported.

Duties/Responsibilities
Manage intake calls
Check insurance benefits for new and established clients.
Send and rectify claims if needed.
Manage intake paperwork collection and ensure EHR files are accurate.
Assume responsibility of maintenance of office equipment.
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by STEPPING STONES TO
SUCCESS COUNSELING.
Receive and create payroll invoices if necessary.
Monitoring accuracy of insurance, EAP and private pay reimbursement,
Credential onboarding staff with major insurance panels and EAP’s with owner’s
assistance and approval if needed.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma with 2 years experience working in office setting.
Medical Billing and Coding Certification preferred.
Align with STEPPING STONES TO SUCCESS COUNSELING mission, vision, and values.
Must be punctual in reporting to work.
Be organized and detail oriented.
Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.
00 - $15.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
